Job Description

You will support the successful delivery of the programme by providing project management support across the programme and all workstreams. This includes, but is not limited to; preparing & running core governance forums, planning and dependency management, quality assurance, risk/issue management & reporting.
What you will be doing?

  • Support the Programme manager maintain the integrated programme plan in conjunction with work stream leads, capturing assumptions and identifying dependencies.
  • Support management of programme RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies) and Action tracking across the programme ensuring timely and effective mitigation, and escalation to Programme Manager & Director as required.
  • Support the Programme manager in the planning, setup & execution of programme stage gates.
  • Provide guidance and input to workstreams to assure delivery, working with wider teams and Internal Audit as required.
  • Support the execution of programme governance structures (including preparing agendas, content, running meetings and minuting) and support Programme Manager & Director with preparation for leadership forums.
  • Collate timely and accurate progress report for all workstreams
  • Ensure our Project minimum standards are upheld for the duration of the programme

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • PMO experience or experience working on global projects (incl. process, transformation, IT)
  • Knowledge of Project & Programme delivery methodologies and tools
  • Superior PowerPoint and excellent Excel skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills, ability to move from one task to another efficiently
  • Good networking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening and English language skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively with virtual teams via video calls, and good use and ability to drive adoption of collab oration tools such as Teams, Project/Task management software etc
  • Ability to work independently and own their own workload and activities to completion
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with more than one team, and wide stakeholder landscape (at all levels) at a time
  • Collaborative and transparent ways of working
