Job Description

You will be an experienced and capable financial controller, comfortable with interpreting and reporting monthly results, cost Centre’s profit and loss calculations, owning and driving month end close and budgeting/forecasting.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly exciting and expanding multi-billion dollar company. Ideally suited to a Part-Qualified person, the position offers full training support for ACCA/ACA/CIMA and also enjoys a generous salary and benefits package.

  • Working closely with department heads develop the annual budgets, and periodical re-forecasts.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial and management reporting, including analysis of variances against budget, to cost Centre owners, department heads and other stakeholders for the review and monitoring of financial performance
  • Build analytics and work with the Sales Managers to understand gross margin performance.
  • Working with the Financial Accounting team to complete the month end close and subsequent commentaries.
  • Providing financial assistance and administrative support for cost Centre owners and Sales managers for the assigned Sartorius entities
  • Work closely with Group Controlling teams to learn best practice and ensure results and requirements are fully understood.
  • Supporting Financial Accounting team on statutory reporting requirements with regard to the Annual Financial Audit plus other statutory reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred
  • Good excel skills, (Lookups, pivot , sumif)
  • Team work plus good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines
