Credit Controller

Job Description
  • Manage the collection process for all outstanding debts using pro-active collection techniques and maintain the records on the system
  • Adhere to all credit control processes and develop where necessary
  • Effectively manage workload across portfolio of clients
  • Promote and develop relationships with key contacts throughout the business and with our clients
  • Manage queries to resolution thought investigation and reconciliation
  • Attend regular meetings/conference calls with managers/surveyors to review client debt
  • Recommend bad debt write offs where appropriate
  • Assist treasury team with allocation of monies and maintenance of accounts
  • Respond to relevant client enquires
  • Maintain all email enquiries accordingly

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel - pivot tables and vlookups desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Experience using other Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Property knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in a high volume, target driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly
  • Confident and assertive when required
