Job Description

An essential role is to work with project managers and project accountants to analyze contracts to set up, update and maintain project information and budgets within the project accounting system in line with company policies. Another key aspect of the role would be to record and apply cash receipts and chase any outstanding debt.

Duties:

  • Setting up new projects and contracts with the correct information.
  • Obtaining bid and performance bonds for projects.
  • Collections: Chase debt as it becomes due
  • Warn FP&A Manager of potential collections problems and discuss routes to escalate.
  • Post cash receipts when invoices paid and notify the PMs
  • Assist with the year-end audit and any other ad hoc requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum 2-3 years' project administration experience on Oracle Fusion/E-Business Suite preferred but not essential. Ideally will have some experience in reviewing contracts and/or commercial arrangements.
