Job Description
- Undertake a variety of administrative and reception duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team;
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information / medical data into clinical system;
- Scanning patient information into computerized records i.e. medical documents, hospital records and letters as necessary;
- Retrieve paper notes as requested;
- Photocopy documents as required;
- Deal with referrals to primary care;
- Action tasks set by clinicians and Practice Manager;
- Process Practice post / emails;
- Reviewing and summarizing medical records;
- Registering new patients;
- Covering reception as and when required;
- Handling phone enquiries efficiently;
- Some 8am starts and 6pm finishes.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional/alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
