Job Description
  • Supporting the Senior Controls Assurance Manager in the design, delivery, and on-going operation of the Controls Assurance Testing Framework for the RFB Group within the Controls Office. Includes establishing and maintaining an effective Controls Assurance Testing Framework for the Controls Office and developing and maintaining supporting methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Supporting the Senior Controls Assurance Manager in development and maintenance of a risk-based assurance plan. Ensures that the assurance plan is kept up-to-date and is reflective of emerging risks and control issues.
  • Executing controls assurance testing in line with agreed methodologies and quality standards. Ensuring that high quality and value-add assurance outputs are produced, sharing insights with Controls Partners and key stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience of Assurance monitoring and the maintenance of an effective Controls Assurance Testing Framework
  • Conduct high quality and efficient reviews of control performance using assurance techniques such as inquiry, observation, inspection, confirmation, outcome analysis, recalculation and governance reviews.
  • Development and maintenance of supporting Assurance methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Production of high quality and value-add assurance outputs identifying controls weakness and remediation requirements where possible
  • Effective communication with Controls Partners and key stakeholders.
  • Experience of the development and maintenance of a risk-based annual assurance plan
