Job Description
- Ensure the stockroom runs efficiently;
- This requires a huge amount of organization as numerous stock ranges
- You must support the store to exceed its sales targets by driving the stockroom team to ensure deliveries are processed quickly.
- Organizing the whole delivery process in store
- Ensuring the stockroom is organized and each item is using it’s space allocation
- Managing delivery administration, and identifying and escalating any discrepancies
- Prioritizing deliveries based on product turnover, management requests and newest products first
- Developing and motivating the stockroom team, making sure they understand the importance of stockroom processes and safety
- Supporting management with stock accounting duties
- Organizing and managing stockroom costs (i.e. managing courier communications, stationary
- Assisting the store in reducing loss by ensuring all stock is accounted for
- Processing recalls and faulty items and returning them to Distribution Centers
- Driving productivity within the stockroom
- Having an awareness of store operations and Brand workloads; supporting the team where necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Passion for Luxury fashion retail
- Be commercially minded, understand best seller and product reports
- Able to plan, organize, multi-task and priorities
- Show that you can deliver excellent results through your team
- Able to drive productivity and work at speed with accuracy
- Proactively drive and motivate the team to achieve results
- Show that you can drive and take ownership of your own development
- Experience in stockroom and delivery management processes within fashion retail is desirable.
