Job Description
Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
Take financial responsibility for both costs and revenue
Have knowledge of - Healthcare, Aerospace, rail, road, air and ocean
End to end monitoring of inbound movements
Opening of files and issuing notices of arrival for Air, Road & Courier shipments
Communication with overseas offices/partners
Complete Customs Formalities for all Inbound/Outbound Shipments following instructions
Ensure that any delivery transportation requirements of the end customer are met
Regularly updating customer service monthly rates
Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently
Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information
Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the site department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the client and their customers
Administer the operating procedures as defined by customer services
Compile daily reports on outstanding collections/deliveries
Communicate daily on deviations to the transport and flight plans put in place to customer services
Manage suppliers and the service they provide to us, directly and through the Product Manager
GDP training to be completed
Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
Attention to detail
Friendly, calm and professional manner
Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of current rates and service options, Air, Road and Ocean
Enthusiasm and self-motivation
Flexible working hours may be required during busy periods
