Job Description
  • Fulfilling the full role and responsibilities of a Registered Manager
  • Ensure the service fully meets and complies with the Care Quality Commission ("CQC") requirements and regulations
  • Ensuring the service provided is of the highest standard and is maintained through quality assurance
  • Ensure the delivery of a safe and effective service that meets its objectives & contractual and legal obligations
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated Care Giver’s and office-based staff to ensure the Company is a market leader of quality care within the community
  • Create and maintain a positive workplace culture
  • Continue business development and growth in line with the Business Plan and Key Performance Indicator’s ("KPI’s")
  • Responsible for operational workforce planning to ensure the company always has the right people in place to meet the on-going and future requirements
  • To participate in and contribute to the strategic direction and management of Beaumont Home Care
  • Maintain, build and promote relationships with staff, clients and their families to ensure the company remains, and is an employer and care provider of choice
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with all stakeholders

As Registered Manager you are to act in the best interests of the clients each and every day by managing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the service. As Registered Manager you will report to both the Director and also to the Care Quality Commission ("CQC), ensuring that the correct systems are in place to continuously monitor quality and performance. Working alongside the Director you will also be instrumental in driving the business forward and will be responsible for the growth and development of our care service whilst ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care

This is both a challenging and rewarding role, the Registered Manager must work collaboratively with the Director, Clients, Office Based Staff and our Care Giver’s to continuously improve our service. The Registered Manager is one of the first people that a client and their family will meet, so the Registered Manager will be an important ambassador of Beaumont Home Care. They will also be responsible for building the individual care package for each client and so a caring and warm personality are required.

It is also important that the Registered Manager can think creatively about how best to build the service for each individual client so they can continue to live independently at home and keep their social connections in place. Companionship is important to health and wellbeing and so understanding each Care Giver’s personality is essential so they can be matched to the right client.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • has a proven track record in providing the highest quality of service
  • is able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets
  • has Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willing to study)
  • has the ability to build strong relationships
  • has the ability to manage highly effective teams making sure that exceptional service is delivered to clients and workloads are managed accordingly
  • has strong influencing skills and is commercially aware
  • Is ambitious and has the drive and motivation to develop our care service
  • has strong organisation and planning skills
  • is positive, self-motivated and ambitious
  • is flexible to meet the demands of a growing business
