Job Description

The service is responsible for all aspects of operational finance and payroll with a full suite of reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The Finance team are implementing a new finance system which will create opportunities for enhanced business and finance processes across the charity.

• You will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will support the COO(Chief Operating Officer) to provide effective and collaborative financial leadership in a growing and innovative charity.
• You will lead the Finance team with overall management of financial and operational activities.
• You will be responsible for financial controls, budgets, payroll, management reporting, external funder reporting, statutory audits and compliance.
• As part of organizational development and in conjunction with the COO, you will set up a compliance function for the charity.
• The post holder will work in partnership with different department leads including the Head of Quality and Service Excellence with a view of improving processes, controls and compliance.
