The College Education Office is a busy, friendly team environment that provides a high standard of support to academics and students within the various departments in the College. The post holder’s main responsibilities will include providing an effective and friendly reception service to staff, students and visitors to the Education Office. This will include acting as the first point of contact for the majority of enquiries, in person, on telephone, email, LiveChat and our Customer Relationship Management system etc.
Administrative responsibilities will include the checking and updating of all digital information available on internal sites, management of office stationary and support of student facing processes such as coursework submissions and maintenance of student data.
A proven ability to communicate effectively, diplomatically and confidently through different means is essential. Good organizational skills, an attention to detail and an ability to keep to tight deadlines will also be an expectation of this role. Some support for meetings will also be expected, and so experience of minute writing is desirable.
A very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Experience in using the University systems, would be useful but is not essential.
