The role entails liaising with people of all cultures and nationalities often requiring patience and understanding. The role also entails general office duties and working with other agencies etc. Registering patients into the department, admitting patients to other wards/hospitals. creating hospital appointments, referring patients to other departments, answering telephone calls/queries, scanning, emailing, liaising with other wards, hospitals. General office duties, filing, stocking shelves etc. Adhering to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention guidelines
We have a mixed team of doctors, nurses, clerical and ancillary support staff. Although there are often stressful and upsetting situations, the whole team come together as one to support each other. We are a friendly, happy team with no discrimination between bands and roles. The work ethic is friendly, professional and considerate to both patients and staff, resulting in a great workforce and patients who have been treated with care, professionalism and friendliness throughout their journey.
