This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the team. The post holder will be responsible for booking patients requiring diagnostic tests in the cardiology department and he/she will be required to utilize the trust booking systems and support all aspects of booking process including contact with patients and teams. The role will focus on supporting a positive patient experience within the service with a key emphasis on achieving Diagnostic standards. The post holder will work closely with the service team and receive support and training as required to fulfil the role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, flexible team-player to join our team in a newly created administrative assistant role. This role is an exciting opportunity which will also involve the administration of the Cardiology service.
The post holder will be responsible for running the outpatient clinics, including the booking of patients, and provide administration services to support all functions of the Cardiology administrative department. This role involves direct contact with patients, clinical staff and other professionals within the department.
The post holder will be required to undertake a wide range of tasks, such as dealing with telephone calls, accurate data entry, dealing with patients face to face, covering reception, scanning and uploading patient information, receiving and dealing with diagnostic reports and queries, maintaining spreadsheets etc. The candidate will need to provide a high standard of work within a pressurized environment, so the ability to multi-task is essential along with the ability to manage high levels of computer work.
