Job Description
- Undertaking clerical duties within the office area and provide reception duties to ensure the needs of the services are met.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to teams.
- Use information systems with specific responsibility to ensure a high standard of information recording is maintained.
- Type all correspondence relating to the team.
- Undertake general office duties, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Answer the telephone, clear answer-phone, record messages and respond to queries in a timely manner ensuring effective communication in line with local policies for non-clinical information only.
- Provide reception support as and when required, including receiving clients to the service and assisting with enquiries.
- Take responsibility for keeping the Office/Reception/Waiting area, clean and tidy.
The role of the bank worker is to work on an ad-hoc basis covering admin roles on an as and when required basis. We require workers who are currently available for work and can work during daytime hours to meet the needs of the organization. Work will mainly be available Monday to Friday however there may be opportunities to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will need to be confident and able to work autonomously and be able to pick up different workloads using different systems depending on where you are placed. IT skills are essential and having a proactive approach will be essential in all areas.
