Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Professional qualification ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, CIPFA or similar.
• Experience of working with local government, police, fire or NHS bodies in external or internal audit capacity.
• We envisage some knowledge of local authority and NHS finance and a reasonably good understanding of the governance and service performance of these sectors.
• Knowledge of Value for Money audit is beneficial.
• We envisage that this role would suit managers, senior managers or directors.
