Job Description
- Network Documentation – Config, Change Control, Topology
- IPS signatures & Web/Protocol filtering
- UTP/Fibre Cabling
- Network monitoring / logging systems
- Network based telephony
- Network Security Systems Controls and Vulnerabilities
- VPN set up and configuration
- In-depth understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, NTP, DNS, DHCP, TLS/SSL, SNMP, HTTP etc
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Supporting end user / corporate like environments
- Configuring enterprise class switches and routers
- Firewall support incl rule configuration
- Supporting / Maintaining wireless networks
- Troubleshooting including commands and tools such as wireshark
- Ethernet networks – VLANs, IP address schemes, subnetting
