Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to grow early career to senior position in the company. The candidate will report to the Finance Manager working alongside the finance team. Candidates with relevant experience and finance qualification are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping, data entry with accuracy
  • Creation of purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and remittances.
  • Managing pro-forma invoices and releasing orders.
  • Record online order payments as required.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries.
  • Cashbook functions and bank & cash reconciliations (upkeep of cash and petty cash book including Purchase Ledger).
  • Purchase ledger processing and reconciling supplier statements.
  • The creation of financial management reports.
  • Time management.
  • Compliance and administration of Licenses and Warrantees.
  • Any other ad hoc finance & admin duties as requested by line manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to Bachelor or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience within a finance function.
  • Experience in SAGE accounting.
  • Excellent IT skills, including fluency in all Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at speed and within tight deadlines.
  • Evidence of excellent time management and organizational skills, clearly demonstrating the ability to plan and priorities a number of conflicting tasks
  • The ability to work both independently and to be relied upon as a strong member of a busy team
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels and through all mediums
  • Demonstrable commitment to the delivery of a high level of customer service.
  • Experience of working in a busy office or equivalent customer facing role.
  • The ability to work effectively with others as a competent team member and coordinator.
