To ensure that the team is satisfying customer demand whilst carrying the right level of inventory.
The focus of the role is to achieve optimal levels of customer service & inventory, and effective communication from Planning to all Customer Service departments across company, supporting the company set targets.
To action reservations in a time appropriate manner to initiate next step in the process of the packing activity for all customer orders.
Monitor the end-to-end Critical Path Schedule (CPS) of all customer orders, in a vertically integrated organization. Working with the Planner / Schedulers and Planning & Procurement Support Officer to maximize inventory velocity, and improve customer communications to provide OTIF (on time in full).
Identify deviations against MPS with the Planning & Procurement Support Officer and evaluate the risk to customer satisfaction with the Planners / Schedulers.
Using current ERP system (currently AX), supporting software and also necessary excel spreadsheets.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures: scheduling, demand and replenishment processes (Make to Order & Make to Stock).
Must be driven, enthusiastic, autonomous and self-motivated.
Must be an effective communicator with people at all levels of the business.
Able to handle multiple, competing priorities in a matrix organization.
Strong negotiation skills, ability to influence at all levels and activate key players.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Office applications specifically Excel.
Experience using MRP / ERP systems, especially Advanced Scheduling Systems, preferably including AX2012.
