Job Description
They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small finance/administration team which is headed up by their Financial Director.
- Maintaining Sales Ledger Inc. raising sales invoices promptly and accurately in line with agreements, processing & filing invoices, and POD
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
- Preparation/emailing of customer statements
- Maintaining Purchase Ledger Inc. placing and processing of purchase orders, invoice matching and processing invoices
- Reconciliation of customers and supplier accounts
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve queries
- Download data from MRP system into excel required to calculate quarterly intercompany charges
- Administration duties Inc. answering telephone, contract review plus ad-hoc tasks as required
- Pay staff expenses from petty cash
