Job Description

You will help ensure compliance with all necessary internal, statutory and regulatory requirements in a consistent, accurate and timely fashion to a standard that is easily auditable.
You will have responsibility for creating, maintaining and enhancing the master data, which is held in SAP, relating to each project including; new project creation, asset commissioning and processing of actuals, plans and budgets. You will liaise with all capital delivery routes and manage the timely receipt of complete and accurate data requirement for each project. You will be providing support and analysis which feeds into the delivery of business plans and must guarantee compliance associated with financial controls.
There will be substantial contact with stakeholders, in particular, Group Tax, Treasury and the external audit teams.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to degree level/AAT in a finance/engineering discipline
  • Have a financial awareness especially within the capital management process, capitalisation policy and capital allowances
  • Be a good relationship builder with the confidence to influence others, as and when required
  • An ability to apply policies/rules to situations
  • Preferably have knowledge of operational assets
  • A strong IT awareness to include SAP, Tagetik and MS Office
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to challenge and change working practices to progress the team
  • Have a strong emphasis on achieving deadlines with a desire for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be an all-round good communicator and be creative in your thinking.
