Job Description
The ideal candidate must have experience of working in a fast-paced financial environment and ideally AAT qualified. The job holder will be supporting the finance manager with day-to-day finance operations. The role will mainly consist of payroll tasks, we would expect the right candidate to undertake a broad range of duties and responsibilities which include:
- Processing payroll on a weekly & monthly basis using SAGE 50clound Payroll
- Performing detailed payroll duties to processing and submission
- Managing and resolving all payroll queries
- Processing weekly & monthly pensions including auto enrolment
- Updating payroll records such as SSP, SMP, leavers, new starters
- Reconcile payroll information for weekly & monthly FPS submission
- Reconcile payroll information for weekly & monthly EPS submission (P32)
- Payroll year end – P60 & P11d
- Payroll Journal for weekly & monthly payrolls
- Finance reconciliations – Bank, Credit Cards, Accruals, and Prepayments
- Debt Collecting
- Sales & Purchase Ledger
- Liaising with Auditors during audit
- Maintain the finance process and procedure notes
- Undertake year end closedown tasks
- Providing administrative support to the team including ad hoc tasks and finance enquiries
- Liaise with internal and external customers across the business at all levels
