Job Description

The successful candidate will become an integral part of the accounts and purchasing team, reporting to the Director of Finance and will have a desire to constantly increase the efficiency and performance of the company.

  • Load invoices and payments and manage monthly statements.
  • Report discrepancies to purchasing team.
  • Support the accounts and purchasing teams by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Answer telephone enquiries and deal with customer requests.
  • Update Sage and CRM.
  • Chase and maintain debtor list.
  • Maintain office and showroom supplies.
  • Manage company insurances and maintenance contracts.
  • Maintain customer and supplier records.
  • General accounts administrative tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience:

  • Accounts office: 1 year (required)
  • Proactive, positive attitude to work.

  • Ability to work effectively within a high performing team setting.

  • Able to work on own initiative with a desire to grow within the business.

  • Accounts office experience with Sage knowledge is essential.

  • Administrative experience including excellent MS Office IT skills with a preference for Salesforce.com knowledge.

  • Highly organized with good attention to detail.

  • Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
