Job Description
Oversee the day to day running and seasonal processes within the stud office.
Implement and promote efficient process and communications with the wider stud team.
Develop and maintain excellent communications with all stud clients ensuring all relevant administration and paperwork is processed in a timely manner, and clients updated accordingly.
Annually review all agreements and paperwork in line with biosecurity and industry recommendations.
Maintain the database including a bi annual review and update.
Ensure that all horses arriving have the correct biosecurity paperwork and boarding agreements.
Ensure that all mares walking out have the correct Cover paper work required.
Responsible for communication with the team on all horse movements and client visits.
Administration of monthly invoices and billing working closely with the Finance team. .
Completing efficient and accurate departure and export paperwork for all horses as required.
Management of the system including user access, reporting, database management and company liaison.
Line management of all stud office staff including annual appraisals and administration of annual leave.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good knowledge of the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industries
Working knowledge of routine equine reproductive veterinary work
Background in Thoroughbred stud work
Experience in office administration and database management
