This is a key role supporting all stages of postgraduate education from initial application to thesis submission. The post holder reports to the Department Administrator and supports the work of the Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Postgraduate Education Committee (PGEC) in coordinating postgraduate research systems and processes to ensure the smooth and efficient running of postgraduate administration. They use student information systems to action procedures accurately and promptly.
The successful candidate will have gained administrative experience in a Higher Education environment. They will be a highly competent user of Microsoft Office with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. They will enjoy working as part of a team and also independently with minimal supervision. They will possess the ability to prioritise efficiently and meet rigid deadlines on a regular basis.
