Job Description

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide our client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

  • Manage a portfolio of GCS businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Collaborate within the sales team, aligning workflow among team members to execute on a plan and ensure accountability to work towards business goals while prioritizing and delivering an excellent customer experience to meet advertisers’ goals.
  • Communicate with customers proactively. Share and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature development.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions, and promote other products.
  • Identify key client stakeholders and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in advertising sales, customer support, account management, marketing or consulting.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, and/or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas, demonstrated thought leadership within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and to achieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
