Carrying out assignments in relation to SRA Accounts Rules reports, law firm accounts and statutory audits (where applicable)
Preparing annual discussion and benchmarking documents to provide analytical commentary of financial performance for clients
Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
Drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with them and associated 3rd parties, by telephone and email
Providing varied administrative and business services for clients
Training student AAT staff (where applicable)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT or ACA or ACCA qualified
Previous relevant audit experience and experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/ LLPs and limited companies
Proficient in MS Office 2007 (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred but not essential - Experience in statutory audit of law firm accounts, in particular LLPs, and a good working knowledge of compliance and regulation
Preferred but not essential – a knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules and the compliance obligations for law firms
