Job Description

You will work as part of a high performing sales team to deliver outstanding execution and sales growth. You will focus relentlessly on sales-out performance and delivery, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve your goals. Using your negotiation and influencing skills to get the best of company, you will partner on both short term tactical and long-term strategic initiatives with the account to further our joint business.

  • Stimulating demand to grow sales-out value growth through daily trading.
  • Creating activation plans aligned to driving sales-out.
  • Building launch and sustain plans across marketing channels, ensuring we have perfect day 1 execution.
  • Managing stock intake, partnering with our logistics team to ensure the end to end order to delivery process goes smoothly.
  • Making investment recommendations that generate a strong ROI.
  • Working with Retail, Training and Customer Service to share insights and deliver the best customer experience through the account.
  • Ensuring Selective Distribution experience standards are maintained; using Reply data to ensure perfect execution with our Retail team and using digital data to ensure digital Brilliant Basics are in place.
  • Managing promotional performance and maximising periods with an attention to detail.
  • Leading internal reporting and forecasting to help the business make the right decisions.
  • Understanding retailer profitability through use of a retained margin tracker.
  • Managing financial rebates and claims, ensuring we are paying for performance.
  • Owning our priority workstreams and bringing these to life, to further the long-term joint business by doing things different and better.
  • Driving the ecommerce equation to grow digital sales.
  • Leading weekly retailer meetings effectively with suitable preparation and time management.
  • Deliver compelling and inspiring presentations internally and externally to rally the team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Determined, able to deliver against sales, gross margin and profitability targets, even in the face of change.
  • Collaborative; able to work across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Group functions to deliver the plan and bring the best in Dyson thinking to life.
  • A bias for action, able to get things done with at pace, with a positive, energetic and engaging attitude.
  • Strong communicator internally and externally at all levels.
