Job Description
- Support the Account Managers – providing quotes, liaison with the Commercial teams, customers and depot(s) staff.
- Running of relevant reports as required.
- Acting as a point of contact with customers in the absence of account managers.
- Training – undertake off-site product training as required.
- Manage the monthly solvent quote system in conjunction with the Account Managers requirement.
- Regularly update information on CRM system.
- Liaise with other sales staff to maximise sales opportunities.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the Regional Sales Manager from time to time, related to the effective performance of the job and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.
- Responsible for the delivery of monthly / quarterly and annual Gross Margin using effective sales techniques while following company selling procedure.
- Plan, monitor and map your actions to support achieving the required targets for growth
- Grow existing business by adding new products
- Liaise with other commercial teams to maximise sales opportunities
- Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor’s activities in order to identify sales opportunities
- liaise and work closely with other members of the depot to support customer requirements and offer service excellence
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong administration and customer service experience is essential
- Sales / Account Management experience desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Experience in administration, report compilation and CRM systems
- Ability to build strong relationships (both internally and externally)
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of building relationships with both customers and colleague.
