Job Description
  • Support operation of complex transfer pricing process, including review of marketing company transfer pricing calculation outputs executed by the Group Financial Services (GFS) to ensure they meet the needs of both Group Policy and local tax authorities.
  • Partnering with Finance business partners understand the components of income and costs to ensure appropriate transfer pricing processes and to be able to comment and explain material variances.
  • Partner with the wider tax team and organization to ensure calculations remain fit for purpose.
  • Work with GFS and the Tax System Accountant to implement process and automation system updates and improvements
  • Prepare clear reporting for OTPs diverse stakeholders, including Group Treasury and Tax Reporting
  • Provide review for GFS to address transfer pricing queries that arise throughout the supply chain, partnering with operations, logistics, finance and financial planning teams around the globe.
  • Support Group Tax Operations in managing tax risk, reporting and compliance implications of transfer pricing
  • OTP Process and System execution Ensure accurate delivery of transfer pricing processes. Understand and be adept at using the OTP technology system to coordinate execution of transfer pricing calculations
  • Coaching and collaboration Coach and support GFS organization and tax system accountant to coordinate execution of transfer pricing processes.
  • Determination of Segmented P&L Understand both transfer pricing principles and the structure of the P&L to deliver the OTP processes, including the design of the segmentation rules.
  • Stakeholder Analysis & Change Support the OTP Senior Manager in stakeholder relationships in business partnering, projects and initiatives, PWC and tax authority audit and other queries.
  • Requirements Analysis and Design Definition Support the OTP Senior Manager in defining new requirements and ways of working as a result of business change or continuous improvement

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A Financial accounting or tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CTA equivalent)
  • Proven experience of a similar tax or finance role requiring analysis of P&L, including cost allocation, or operational transfer pricing
  • Experience of Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing in a Globally recognized business
  • SAP Experience
  • Proven experience of working with and reviewing outputs of complex financial systems and processes within a strong control environment
  • Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and deliver
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
  • Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge
