Job Description
Understand the procedures: Purchase Orders processes, travel expense processes, key suppliers.
Ensure procedures are adhered to and improved where necessary
Ensuring departmental adherence to statutory requirements and other internal processes.
Identification of process improvements and assist with any project implementation.
Receiving invoices through email and post, understanding the nature of these expenses for eventual account coding.
Daily Scanning, Coding and Posting of Invoices (inc intercompany).
Making large batch payments to Local and International vendors.
Ensuring that payment runs are completed within correct timescales.
Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting for day to day issues that may arise.
Liaise with accountants Operations departments
Participate in ad hoc finance projects and work as required
Help drive a culture of constant improvement and change
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
MS Office applications.
Languages- Italian
Excellent business acumen
Communication/interaction skills essential
Positive/can do attitude
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX an advantage.
Experience in a Finance Shared Services environment.
2 years’ experience in an AP role
Languages Spanish / Portuguese an advantage
