I am working closely with a client of mine, a highly respected company based near Sutton, to recruit for a permanent and full-time Assistant Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working on a full-time basis, this job entails:

• Handling of invoices
• Overseeing Accounts Payable & Receivable Administration
• Bank Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Journal Entries
• Accruals & Prepayments
• VAT Returns
• Fixed-Asset Maintenance

The ideal candidate for this vacancy WILL:

• Have AT LEAST 2-3 years' experience in a finance department
• Have a good grasp and experience in General Ledger
• Hold a finance and accountancy degree (desirable)
• Be an active ACCA, ACA or CIMA studier
