Job Description
Our client is a specialist independent school for children aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism. They are looking for a Support Administrator to work alongside the Office Manager and Receptionists to develop their skill set and knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide a first line of contact for parents, students, and school visitors. Effectively manage enquiries, whether in person or by telephone, ensuring that all enquiries follow the school's channels of communication
- Provide an administrative service to help with the organizing of events, such as 'sharing’s', trips, open days etc.
- Assist with the general secretarial duties of the Administration team including copy-typing, audiotyping, reprographics, message-taking for staff and students, all as required by the line manager
- Provide assistance for the main school switchboard as and when required.
- Arranging meetings, minuting meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are taken
- Priorities workload to ensure completion of work to specific deadlines
- Liaise with feeder schools and other relevant bodies to gather pupil information
- Adhere to school's procedures for recording, monitoring, and acting upon a range of data for students. Maintaining these key records where necessary
- Ensure confidentiality is observed at all times by the General Data Protection Regulations
- Participate fully in training and development opportunities
- General administrative duties as requested by Office Manager and Principal
- Ensuring that prospective students are logged onto iSAMS and any additional actions are noted throughout the admissions process
