You will be working as part of a team of four who are responsible for the regulatory reporting to us in relation to the Syndicate.
Ensuring that key controls and reconciliations are effectively maintained in support of the regulatory filings.
Supporting the production of our regulatory returns including QMA, QSR, GQD, US and Canadian reporting in line with the filing deadlines.
Production of information requested on the audit deliverables list. Ensuring this is being produced and distributed on a timely basis.
Preparation of ad-hoc reports and disclosures for management.
Posting STAT ledger adjustment journals.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and detail orientated individual. It is essential that you have strong analytical skills and excellent communication. You will also have: Knowledge of Insurance would be an advantage. A minimum of 12+ months experience within similar finance function. Working towards a professional accounting qualification. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities. Good team player with flexibility to adapt and grow as responsibilities increase. Computer literate particularly in Excel. Knowledge of SUN an advantage.
