Job Description

My client a real estate investment firm are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become their Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will report in to the CFO and the key objective is to enable the day to day running of the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review the Management accounts for entities and complete the Management accounts for the wider Group
• Oversee the Cashflow forecast
• Reviewing the relevant Tax needs for the assets
• Preparing and reviewing VAT
• Transactions: Oversight of the completion accounts and review the preparation of funds flows as needed.
• Analyse the budgets vs actual for the relevant assets.
• Review all accounts (rent accounts, bank accounts etc)
• Creating statutory accounts
• Lead the audit process

This role will be a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the CFO and be exposed to the more strategic aspects within the Real Estate Investment space. Future development will be to start engaging around the raising of Investment and preparing for future Transactions as and when required

The ideal profile will be an ACA/ ACCA practice trained individual with strong written and verbal communication. Ability to liaise confidently and develop relationships with stakeholders, investors and tenants. Ideally experience within real estate, however exposure to appropriate Financial Services will also be highly suitable.
