Job Description
Conduct throat and occasionally nasal swabs of patients seeking to know if they have COVID-19 for fit to fly/work purposes
Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients and staff
Greet customers appropriately. Treat all customers in a courteous manner.
Demonstrates proficiency of proper collection methods and proper processing of all specimens.
Understand the importance of correct PPE and have an ability to follow strict donning and doffing policy in line with company policy.
Strict Infection control knowledge, training will be provided.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Medical experience as a phlebotomist/CNA/Medical Assistant or EMT desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Excellent customer service skills with patient interaction.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Knowledge of Infection control.
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
Sensitive but friendly persona
Previous experience of covid-19 test administration desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working as a receptionist desirable but not essential
Previous customer services background desirable
Knowledge of basic Microsoft office is essential
Friendly and Understanding of customer needs
Able to prioritise workload and multi-task.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a professional demeanour.
