This will include planning and providing health promotion activities within the community, as well as delivering both on-site support in schools and community settings, and office-based administrative support.
Communication
Liaise and communicate effectively with other team members and clients of different backgrounds and levels of understanding.
To report concerns and safety issues within the working environment to the nurse/doctor in charge.
Have the ability to build relationships with key partners including Health, Education, Local Authority, Voluntary Agencies, Parents/ Carers and Young People.
To liaise effectively with members of the wider multidisciplinary team and patients and their carers, in line with Information Governance standards
To take the lead on coordinating and collecting service-use feedback.
Communicate effectively with children, young people, relatives and carers, recognizing the need for alternative communication.
To participate in Team meetings as appropriate.
To ensure that up to date written and electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with the Trust standards
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful applicant will have experience of working in the community with children and young people. They will also have previous phlebotomy experience. Excellent, communication and organizational skills are essential.
