Job Description

The Development and Enterprises Department is looking for a Research Administrator to join our Research team to contribute to our fundraising research and keeping up to date information on donors and members. Reporting to the Head of Research, you will use a variety of research tools, prepare prospect profiles and collate other relevant information needed to support the activities of our fundraising teams and in line with our guidelines on confidentiality and data protection.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate profile will be a strong team player, with these qualities: Experience of research methods including databases and on line search tools with ability to learn new tools and methods. An ability to identify key points from multiple sources and large amounts of information and present findings in a clear and concise written form. Experience of working with databases, and research sources, also highly proficient Microsoft Office user, with the interest and ability to learn new systems. Ability to check data, proofread and ensure high quality, accurate output. Experience of handling sensitive information confidentially and with discretion, especially relating to high profile individuals. Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role.
