Job Description
- Develop a thorough understanding of Quilter’s business processes in scope for assigned audits;
- Working on multiple audit assignments, delivering to deadlines and budgets and in accordance with IA methodology and agreed quality standards;
- Execution of audits with involvement at all stages of the audit process including planning, fieldwork and reporting;
- Engage with business unit process owners to understand processes and identify key risks;
- Perform audit testing that is focused on key risks and makes use of techniques such as data analytics;
- Demonstrate application of root cause analysis to drive value add audit findings which reflect the evolving risk and control environment;
- Propose clear, practical and value add actions to address control weaknesses identified;
- Manage and perform Issue Assurance activities on a quarterly basis;
- Ensure key stakeholders are kept abreast of Internal Audit observations during the audit and contribute to developing Internal Audit’s relationship with stakeholders beyond the audit;
While GIA leverage digital tools to communicate with colleagues across our various office locations, there may be a small and limited amount of flexible travel required, depending on the audit engagement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree. Relevant specialized qualification, for example ACA, ACCA, IMC, CFA or other Internal Audit or Risk Management certification. Experience performing a risk and controls focused role e.g. Internal or External Audit, Risk or Compliance; Understanding of risk and controls in the Financial Services environment; and Knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory environment.
