Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, the ideal candidate will have hands on Financial Control experience with strong financial and management accounts experience.

This is a very ‘hands on’ role and requires someone to take responsibility for everything, from trial balance and reconciliation's through to producing the statutory accounts and maintaining the weekly P&L and balance sheet. The role is business facing and requires the individual to build strong internal relationships and be proactive in supplying robust and concise financial information and commercial acumen.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This role will suit an ambitious, driven and self-motivated individual, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to improve efficiencies where required. You will ideally be qualified by Experience, Part or Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with previous experience of working as a Controller in a commercial environment. Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills are essential, coupled with the ability to analyze complex accrual figures and implement process change.
