What you’ll be doing:
Produce accurate and timely management accounts
Compile month end files including schedules and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
Oversee sales, purchase and bank ledgers, ensuring adequate controls are incorporated and maintained
Manage the fixed asset register, including audit compliance.
Assist with tax compliance, including VAT returns and employee benefits.
Manage the monthly payroll and remuneration accounting for the business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What we’re looking for: You’ll be either part or newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) or have demonstrable equivalent experience. Previous experience of accountancy within a finance environment. Excellent communication skills which demonstrate a commercial focus to influence key stakeholders. A consistent focus on process improvements. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. An organized, methodical approach to work with great attention to detail.
