Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a new Faculty Finance Manager who will assist in the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting for the Faculty. The post-holder will ensure both the smooth running of the day-to-day financial processes and continuous improvement of management information and analysis.

We are looking for an experience, highly motivated and proactive Manager who can provide excellent financial advice and support to improve decision making, enable strategic initiatives and improve financial performance.

The post-holder will provide day to day support to the Technology finance function working in liaison with the Faculty Manager and Faculty Accountant. The role holder will report to the Faculty Manager and Executive Dean and will work closely with the Senior Management Team within the Faculty. They will have line management responsibility for the Finance staff across the Faculty.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You can showcase ability to communicate effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues. · You have strong technical accounting knowledge. · You can demonstrate your commercial acumen. You possess experience of managing staff, preferably a finance team. You possess advanced modelling and excel skills. · You have knowledge of Research and grant applicant processes. · You are able to work under pressure.
