We are currently seeking a full time Accounts Assistant to join our support team.
Accounts responsibilities include;
Bank reconciliations;
Creating and updating daily and ad-hoc reports;
Posting of bills to client ledgers;
Allocating receipts between office and client accounts;
Maintenance of finance reconciliations;
Updating purchase ledger (processing invoices);
Control and processing of petty cash;
Check that VAT is correctly calculated and shown on bills;
Investigate fee earners queries arising from time to time on client’s matter;
Answering ad-hoc phone queries;
Maintain accounting records;
Assist with the production of periodic and year end accounts;
General Office responsibilities include;
Closing of client files;
Maintaining archiving of files;
Office procurement;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideal candidate will have completed or currently studying AAT. Experience in a similar role. Confident in using Office applications, specifically Excel. High level of attention to detail. Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
