We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Finance Assistant to join our friendly office team. The successful candidate should have good communication and IT skills, they will be responsible for undertaking the day to day procurement activities for the federation along with other finance tasks, as detailed in the job description.
Duties will include:
Initiation of purchasing orders, goods receipting and payment of invoices
Completing internal budgetary transfers
Producing financial management reports
Petty cash reconciliations
Journal transfers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working with Hampshire County Councils systems would be an advantage although training will be provided. We are looking for someone who: Is looking to work as part of a team. Is able to deal with constant interruptions with a smile on your face. Can keep calm under pressure, with the ability to priorities workloads. Is organized and efficient. Is able to use their initiative. Qualified in Math and English at GCSE grade C or above.
