Job Description

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out the service and repairs of our heavy plant construction machinery effectively and competently to the highest standard.

You will be required to apply your industry skills and knowledge to make a real impact within the team and business by:

• Identifying mechanical problems using technical knowledge and computerized diagnostic equipment, offering guidance and advice to the customer
• Attending any relevant product or systems training courses to ensure a high standard of competence required to efficiently complete duties.
• Work in accordance with our standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The position requires a Service Engineer with: Previous dealer experience. Industry experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant machinery. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or equivalent. Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills and comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. High standards and attention to detail.
