Job Description

As part of the Continuous Improvement team, the job holder will audit the manufacturing process against standard operating procedures. Based mainly on the business flagship line, it is expected that the job holder performs real time monitoring of process controls and associated batch manufacturing documentation. The job holder is expected to review, identify trends and feedback findings to help build and improved manufacturing conformance.

Role Key Accountabilities:

  • Diligently record real time conformance to process parameters
  • Collate and review data to identify trends over 4 different shifts
  • Report findings into daily and weekly manufacturing meetings
  • To engage with manufacturing personnel and raise awareness to process control adherence
  • Immediately escalate and report any deviations to materials, facilities, processes or procedures to the supervising team
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and escalate those to the respective FLMs or Area Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educated to a minimum of HNC you will be a highly motivated Quality Auditor or Process Technician with excellent and proven experience in continuous improvement. You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of how to use data to help improve performance. Other requirements to be successful in this role are as follows: Sound understanding of process control. Self-motivated individual. Good attention to detail. Ability to execute activities following direction. Experience of working in a busy team and demanding environment. Able to compile data driven reports via Microsoft Office. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills. Being a FMCG business, the job holder shall be able to manage within a fast paced, ever changing, environment.
