Job Description

We are looking to recruit a professional, enthusiastic and flexible candidate to support our Business Assurance Team provide high quality internal audit services, in addition to training and consultancy to our voluntary and public sector clients. These include social housing providers and charities. Main duties and responsibilities: · Working under the director of a Senior Auditor/Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include undertaking audits in operational and financial systems, producing high quality reports and liaising with clients. A significant degree of independent working is required and you will need to demonstrated initiative in your work and the ability to work to tight deadlines. · You will have well developed inter personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with your peers, an integration into our well established and high performing team will be vital to success. · Auditors are expected to deliver high quality working papers, to be involved in peer review of working papers and to make effective user of the internal audit software.

This position requires extensive travel throughout the country and overnight stays. A full driving licence and car is essential.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual possessing at least 2-3 years internal audit experience and who is part qualified. CIIA qualifications are preferred but not essential.
