Job Description
In this way we are able to provide an essential foundation on which to develop your technical knowledge; this will involve time in production and repair as well as on the phones and responding to customer enquiries online, all under supervision. There will be a three month probationary period with the expectation that a permanent contract will be entered into at the end of that period.
We support businesses in the UK and internationally to provide the best exterior cleaning equipment to their customers, and our goal is to become the easiest company for them to deal with.
As part of our Internal Sales Team, you will be required to:
Assess customer enquiries to ascertain what they require and where we can add value to their business by supplying the correct equipment.
To research and engage with potential customers, distributors and OEM's.
Source new products globally from reliable manufacturers and/or distributors who meet the technical, delivery and quality specifications of the company.
Liaise with Purchasing to negotiate prices and availability with suppliers which will allow you to submit competitive quotations against customer enquiries.
To prepare quotations in a professional manner in accordance with customer requirements, company guidelines and customer deadlines – normally same day response.
Proactively progress quotations with customers and / or our distributors to convert as many as possible to sales orders.
Hours: 8:30-5:30 with an hour’s lunch

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed in the role, we are searching for an organized, highly communicative individual with real, natural customer care attitude. As approximately 60% of our queries come through on email and social media we ask that you are highly computer literate as you will be using our internal systems as well as Microsoft office suite; answering customer enquiries on the phone will also be an integral part of the job and so a good telephone manner is also essential. Finally the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment whilst showing personal initiative would be a great advantage. Experience: Sales: 1 year (Preferred).
