As enterprises simplify, modernize and secure their legacy environments for the digital era, robust quality Engineering and assurance (QE&A) is essential. Quality takes an end-to-end connotation and must straddle both legacy and digital systems. Cognizant QE&A is reimagining QA, employing an end-to-end ecosystem approach with intelligent and automated QA processes. In so doing, increasing quality and speed to promote faster business and technology change, as well as a better customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Create test plan/review plan, identify/review test scenarios, identify risks and take corrective actions, organize training review deliverables, validate test environment with the objective of review deliverables, validate test environment, ensuring consistent quality of the deliverables and completion of testing process within the project and client requirements.
• Team Management – Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members. Support the team in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
• Participate in Sprint Planning/retrospective meetings & provide necessary inputs to the Scrum master & Product Owner. Should have good communication skills
• Gather inputs from the business analyst and development team to understand technology, business requirements, test data requirements and application; Seek review inputs on reverse KT document from the client; Participate in the client meeting to understand the requirement and provide necessary Guidance & Support to the team.
• Team building – promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working on Business and IT transformation projects, ideally with large corporates or for consultancies. Substantial knowledge of Test life cycle including various types of Non-Functional Testing. Ability to demonstrate what is important in ensuring successful delivery of projects across various phases and the ability to flex your approach to the different challenges faced. Exposure to different project types / clients - ideally with experience of complex business and IT transformation. Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to test teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues. Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands. Able to effectively deal with conflicting priorities. Experience working in Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber.
