Job Description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Concierge to cover evening shifts within our Norman House service in Leicester. The service provides accommodation and support to single homeless adults with an offending background, to ensure clients move positively move into settled accommodation and thus prevent re offending.

The main purpose of the Concierge role is to keep the building safe and secure and be a point of contact for service users who may require support in an emergency or crisis situation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be successful in this role you will have an empathetic and confident approach to your work and our residents; an awareness of the issues faced by the client group and the ability to respond appropriately to challenging behavior. You will be self-motivating with sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to achieve positive outcomes; possess good IT skills together with great organizational and time management abilities. You will need to be able to work within the shift pattern.
