Job Description

As well as being part of a product team, you will also be part of a wider Experience Design (XD) Team that includes other product designers as well as a centralized design team. You will be mentored by smart, experienced people so on-the-job learning will come hand-in-hand with guidance and formal training. Your duties will include:

• Being hands-on with design and design strategy
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in design, product management and engineering.
• Working in all phases of design from research through ideation, wire framing, visual design and prototyping.
• Problem solving - developing solutions for difficult problems.
• Taking part in discovery, workshop and co-design sessions with customers and colleagues.
• Thinking conceptually, as well as obsessing over the detail.
• Designing workflows and detailed interactions that brings the experience to life.
• Researching and validating designs with our users in mind
• Work closely with engineers as they build and release.
• Conceptualizing original ideas to meet user and business needs.
• Leading ideation to quickly generate and evolve ideas.
• Defining interaction models, task flows and screen designs.
• Evolving concepts from sketches to high-fidelity.
• Creating prototypes and screen schematics.
• Finding creative ways to optimize user journeys.
• Conducting concept and usability testing to validate ideas.
• Communicating design ideas and prototypes to developers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience as a designer delivering amazing digital products. Substantial experience of design working on iOS and Android apps Strong leadership skills and experience of owning each stage of product design. A broad set of design skills across all aspects of the design from research, human-centered design, prototyping, to visualization. A naturally curious mindset. A drive to keep up with the emerging digital trends and culture. Confidence in communicating, defending, and building consensus around design solutions. Experience in diagramming, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch. Experience working with lean principles in an Agile environment. #LI-GJ1.
